Simply put KBB is an abbreviation for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

The KBB industry is mainly interior design focused and typically involves sales and project management jobs.

All of Kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms can be purchased from national retailers, independent retailers, online retailers, interior design practices, installers, house builders and builder merchants.

Typically speaking kitchen designer or bathroom designer role requirements include initial customer showroom enquiry, selling your company and product benefits, home visit for a measure, design, presentation and sometimes project management during the installation.

Many experts agree that a new kitchen or bathroom install is seen as a long time property investment and will typically increase the value of your home up to 15%. When homes for sale are viewed, it is typically known that the house purchaser will migrate straight to the kitchen or bathroom and this will be their first impression. Most national house builders view dining rooms as a thing of the past and choose open plan designs with the kitchen being even more the heart of the home.

The current typical kitchen current trends are bright pink kitchen accents and for the main kitchen, darker painted colours with less kitchen units and more open units. For bathrooms, white ceramics are still most of the market.
