Salary Circa £50,000 p/a (+ potential of 10% on top of salary as a bonus)

Responsibilities:
As the category manager, you will be responsible for managing the Shower and Bath categories. You will develop strategies to drive profitability and perform market research to identify trends to ultimately achieve business objectives.
You will also manage the existing portfolio of products through their life cycle, sourcing new products and phasing out the existing ranges.

Analyse sales data, market reports, and competitor information to identify opportunities and develop pricing and promotional strategies.

In conjunction with the Supply Chain team Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, operations, and finance to develop and execute category plans.

Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Creating and developing a strategic long term plan for the development of the category.

Build strong relationships with key suppliers and support procurement director in improving supplier performance.
The Ideal Applicant:

At least 2 years’ experience in a product category manager, product management or Buying role.

Knowledge and experience within the KBB sector.

High degree of personal organisation in a complex, fast paced environment.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Strong IT skills.
