Job Title: Bench Joiner – Joinery                                                                                                                                                          Location: Home Counties/London
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Simon Acres Recruitment are representing an established bespoke manufacturers workshop is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join their skilled team. This role focuses on the manufacture of high-quality bespoke joinery, including cabinetry, furniture, and detailed interior items
 
About the Role
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop, producing premium joinery from technical drawings to an exceptional standard.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture bespoke joinery items including cabinetry, doors, frames, and fitted furniture.

  • Ensure excellent preparation and build quality to achieve high-end finishes.

  • Interpret and work from detailed technical and workshop drawings.

  • Use a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

  • Assemble and fit components accurately in the workshop.

  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, quality control, and attention to detail.

  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

 
Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner within a bespoke joinery environment.

  • Strong background in high-quality joinery and premium finishes.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

  • Confident using a variety of workshop machinery and hand tools.

  • Good time management and ability to work to deadlines.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working on high-end residential or commercial projects.

  • Knowledge of different timber materials and joinery methods.

  • NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent in Joinery or Carpentry.
