About the Role
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to manage bespoke bedroom and kitchen projects from initial in-home consultation through to order placement. You will work directly with customers, translating measurements and ideas into practical, beautifully designed solutions that customers can confidently sign off.
This position is ideal for a personable, design-focused individual who enjoys meeting clients in their homes, solving spatial challenges, and creating thoughtful living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend in-home design appointments to understand customer needs, style, and budget

Accurately measure bedrooms, kitchens, and complex spaces including attics, slopes, and under-stairs areas

Translate customer ideas into practical, well-planned layouts and storage solutions

Produce CAD designs and photo-realistic visuals to agreed measurements

Prepare and present quotations, clearly explaining design and pricing options

Issue proposals and support the admin process, including confirmation paperwork and invoicing (with team support)

Process confirmed orders to the factory and relevant suppliers, ensuring all specifications are accurate

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects progress smoothly from design through to manufacture
Requirements / Skills:
Essential:
-
Training in interior, furniture, or kitchen design (or strong equivalent industry experience)

Confident use of CAD software

Comfortable working directly with customers in their homes
-
High attention to detail, particularly with measurements and specifications
-
Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to appointments
Strongly Preferred:
-
Experience designing bespoke bedrooms and/or kitchens
-
Experience surveying and measuring rooms and complex spaces

Confident sales ability, including presenting options and guiding customers to decisions

Familiarity with ordering processes, factory specifications, and supplier coordination
-
Willingness to learn new systems and processes (full training provided)
