Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager
Location: East Sussex 
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £31,000- £34,000 Basic Per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the friendly face of their busy Trade Counter, helping customers in person and over the phone.

• Take and process customer orders, offering accurate and helpful product information.

• Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and loading customer orders when required.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, following company procedures at all times.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent service and smooth daily operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Supporting the delivery of sales and margin targets across the branch.
• Building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ensuring efficient stock control, pricing strategies, and timely deliveries.
• Championing a positive health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with all standards.
• Helping maintain vehicles, pre-shift checks, and branch infrastructure.
• Leading by example and supporting a motivated, service-driven team.
• Assisting in identifying growth opportunities and responding to competitor activity.
• Being hands-on and flexible—whether on the trade counter, in the yard, or admin support.
